Terms & Conditions

Last updated: April 8, 2026

What these terms cover

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of the Aftermath website and any sign-in or waitlist-style flows we offer from it (together, the "Site"). Aftermath is an early-stage project: we are validating demand; the full product described in marketing copy is not guaranteed, scheduled, or generally available. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site—for example, by breaking the law, probing or disrupting our systems, scraping at scale without permission, impersonating others, or uploading malware. We may suspend access if we reasonably need to protect the Site or other users.

Accounts

If you create an account through our authentication provider, you are responsible for your credentials and for activity under your account. You must be old enough in your jurisdiction to agree to these Terms.

Third parties

The Site depends on vendors (such as hosting and sign-in). Your use of their services is also governed by their terms. We do not control those services.

Intellectual property

The Site's branding, text, design, and code (except open-source or third-party components) belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse them except as needed for normal browsing or as allowed by law.

Disclaimers

THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. MARKETING COPY DESCRIBES A PRODUCT DIRECTION, NOT A COMMITMENT OR SERVICE LEVEL.

Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS OR DATA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF THE SITE IN ANY TWELVE-MONTH PERIOD IS CAPPED AT ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100), OR THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SITE IN THAT PERIOD IF GREATER (TODAY THAT IS TYPICALLY ZERO). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE CASES OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM ALLOWED BY LAW.

Changes

We may change the Site or these Terms. We will post updates here and refresh the "Last updated" date. If you keep using the Site after changes go live, you accept the updated Terms.

General

If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms are governed by applicable law without regard to conflict-of-law rules, to the extent those rules can be waived by you and us. We are not a law firm and these Terms are not tailored advice; consider your own counsel before relying on them for high-stakes decisions.
